Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope you have had a good year! Our year has been quite a good one.

Chelsea is in kindergarten this year, in the french immersion program. She's doing extremely well, and enjoying herself immensely. She's made lots of friends already and looks forward to school everyday. She's growing so quickly!! It's hard to believe that she'll be six in February! She's taking Ballet and Skating right now, and she really seems to be enjoying both. sje's decided that she wants to be a Vancouver Canuck when she grows up (if there is a Vancouver Canucks) along with the other dozen or so occupations. She is going to be a busy girl.

Josh just got a promotion at Friesen equipment (John deere),  and is now the parts department superviser in Langley. He started there November 1st,and so far he seems to be enjoying it. he says the pace is slower there, not as much traffic through the store, but there are a fair number of changes and improvements to be done, so he's been kept busy so far.  Josh is also working quite a few nights and weekends at the Ramada Inn right now, setting up and taking down banquets and events.  Christmas is their busy season, and while we don't see much of each other, the extra money is sure nice!  After the New Year, things should settle down again, and Josh will only work at the Ramada once in a while.  His car is still on hold until at least after Christmas, since he doesn't have time to look at it most weeks, let alone work on it.

Nicola is still doing day care from home, and still enjoying it.
Next school year she hopes to go back to teaching, but we'll see.
By then Chelsea will be in grade 1 and out of the house for full days. Nicola has a one and a half year old girl in care right now whom whe has had since April. She is a cutie, but fill of mischief, so she keeps her busy.  She also has a one year old boy who just started november 15th so they are still getting acquainted, really.

For Christmas this year, we're staying home. Fortunatly, both Josh's and Nicola's parents and Nicola's grandparents,Grandmother, and Uncle will be coming down to celebrate with us. We are all really excited, especially Chelsea!!
She has never had Christmas at home before.
